Our Operations During

Fingrid Oyj, the grid company responsible for Finland's electricity distribution, has warned of an electricity shortage that could potentially hit Finland next winter. If the availability of electricity does not match the consumption, we will find ourselves in a situation where the last option is to interrupt the distribution of electricity. If distribution interruptions have to be resorted to, the planned interruptions will be implemented as regional interruptions of electricity distribution of 1–2 hours, which will be announced in advance.

Operation during planned power outages:

- The operation of the calculation centers and transport units will be stopped in a controlled manner before the start of the power outage
- The aim is to get the transport routes up and running before the power outage starts in the unit
- Calculation of accounts and packaging of change cannot be carried out during power outages
- Transports are attempted to be carried out during regional power outages, as far as the situation allows
- After the electricity is restored, the unit's functions are started in a controlled manner

Possible interruptions in electricity distribution cause disruptions to all of our businesses and lives. As far as Loomis Suomi Oy's operations are concerned, it can mean delays in the calculation of settlements, packaging of change and disruptions in value transport services.

During possible regional power outages, we strive to provide the value transport service as normally as possible. We hope that our customers would be able to hand over and receive valuable items during a power outage, if it is at all possible to do so safely.

We ask our customers to be prepared for disruptions in packaging production or transport services when it comes to change. If power outages occur unexpectedly and without prior information, the operation is based on Loomis Suomi Oy's continuity planning and management according to the situation.
